SAPA Kids & Teens (ex-Sapitos) is our youth group comprised by youngsters between 4 and 13 years of age which was founded in 1978 by Willie MacKenzie and Deborah Hortis. The project’s aim is to encourage kids to discover and enjoy the culture and traditions of the Scots by teaching them the arts of Scottish piping, drumming, highland and country dancing in a friendly and family environment. To learn more about the Sapitos‘ history, please click here.

Apart from learning the arts and discipline of piping, drumming and dancing, the kids learn the basics of tempo, rhythm, beat, marching, trying to develop confidence, attention, listening skills and awareness of space and time. The social aspect of our practices is one of our most precious features as -above all- we believe that we do this for fun! We also foster the involvement of the kids’ parents and family.

Our practices are held on Saturdays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at St.Alban’s College, 250 Ramon Falcon street, Lomas de Zamora.
